Financing and investment trends 2020

In 2020 despite the COVID 19 pandemic there was over €80bn of financing activity in the wind energy sector in Europe, including €43bn for the construction of new wind farms. The remaining €37bn included refinancing transactions, mergers and acquisitions at project and corporate level and additional fundraising in capital markets.
